The first service call for a new customer, particularly for an older piano, should include a cleaning. The case parts are removed and the inside is vacuumed.

Cleaning can be performed at any time and in particular Grand pianos need to be kept clean inside, especially if you like to keep the lid open. Once the soundboard and tuning pin area start collecting dirt it can be difficult to remove, just look inside any older grand piano.

Another option to keep Grand pianos clean are string covers, they completely cover the plate, strings, soundboard and pin area keeping dirt and dust out and look great as well!
